The MulaUp cycler Ponzi scheme run by Hanli Lombard has failed for the fourth time.
A recent newsletter sent to investors says that a fifth reboot of “MulaUp Mobile” is in the works.
In August 2022, BehindMLM looked at the fourth MulaUp reboot.
At the time, the scam was run from “mulaup.com,” which has since had its website hosting shut down.
According to a report to investors on November 15;
Since three months ago, MulaUP has pretty much stopped. Our numbers haven’t changed, and our members are waiting eagerly for a solution.
The Mula team didn’t seem to be doing anything about it the whole time. We have been quiet, in the dark, and well hidden behind the scenes.
So far, most of the MulaUp cycler Ponzi schemes have been aimed at South Africans. With MulaUp Mobile, Lombard and her partners hope to make the scam happen all over the world.
MulaUP Mobile will be up and running in 200 places around the world!! MulaUP is going online all over the world!!
Even though MulaUp Mobile told South African victims that they would be able to scam people all over the world, their compensation plan is still in ZAR:
Using your Level 1 products, you can still make up to R1,600:
- Mula-4-Chat lets you send messages and get 10c for each one.
- Mula-4-Dial lets you make 10 cents for every minute you talk to someone.
- Mula-4-Money lets you earn R1 for every purchase over R100.
- Mula-4-Share lets you make R5 for each person who clicks on your link.
You can only make up to R1,600 per month. So, you can use the products as much as you want, but once your earnings reach R1,600, you won’t get any more money until the next month starts.
Lombard had originally planned to introduce MulaUp Mobile at a South African sports event.
The best news is that this year’s MAP Games will be the official start of MulaUP Mobile.
Every year, there is a soccer tournament called the MAP Games. Every year, about 1.8 million people go to this event.
This year, MulaUP and MulaUP Mobile will be the official sponsors of the MAP Games!
From November 2 to December 16, the MAP Games are happening. We will have scouts at the Games telling people about MulaUP during this time.
I think MAP Games stopped the event when they found out it was going to be used to recruit people for a Ponzi scheme.
On November 8, Lombard came up with the following cover story;
We had an investor who agreed to help us out so that, among other things, we could do the MAP Games.
Due to a long delay and technical problems, it was hard to get those funds. Because of this, we can no longer do the MAP Games.
A little bit of time has also been added to the launch of MulaUP Mobile. We promise, though, that it won’t go away!
After that, on November 10, MulaUp launched a marketing campaign aimed at children:

No one knows how much money each MulaUp victim lost. One newsletter for MulaUp investors says that more than 7,000 South Africans have been scammed.
A source says that each individual investor has lost up to ZAR 350,000:
Members have also paid a lot of money for “nats and nodes” in mula for you (Example R350 000).
People were told that they would get their money back by the end of September 2022, and then that date was moved to the end of October. However, no money has been given out yet.
Cormari Nel, Monica Fourie, Michaela Fourie, and Brieta Senekal are also MulaUp ringleaders who help run and promote the Ponzi scheme.
So far, the South African government hasn’t done anything about MulaUp, Hanli Lombard, or her other accomplices.
