Bravely is an MLM company that sells nutritional supplements. The company is based in the US state of Florida.

On the way up Aspen Emry and Brent Emry are the co-founders of Bravenly Global.

The CEO of Bravenly Global is Aspen Emry. Brent, who is married to her, is the COO.

In 2020, Bravenly Global got off the ground. In the same year, BehindMLM looked at Emris International, a company that Aspen Emry helped start and ran as CEO.

In 2019, Emris International got off the ground. It, too, was an MLM company that sold nutritional supplements. Its main focus was on weight loss and CBD oil.

Before starting Emris International, Emry was a distributor for the company It Works!

At the time this was written, Emris International’s website was still up and running. Matthew and Ilean Harris still run the business, but the 2019 version is very different.

Now, Momentum Business Academy is being sold by Emris International. The company says it is based in South Africa, and people from that country seem to be its target market.

I tried to find out why Emry quit Emris International. I couldn’t find either one or a specific date she left.

I could only say that it would happen sometime in the last four months of 2020:

On December 8, Bravenly Global opened for business. Before that, it had been in prelaunch since October 2020. When Emry left for a while, that got even more narrow.

I found a press release that said wrongly that Bravenly Global was launched in February 2021:

I have no idea what that is about.

In the end, it’s not clear why Emry left Emris International. So far as I know, this hasn’t been talked about in public.

Read on for a full review of the MLM opportunity with Bravenly Global.

A unilevel team is used to pay out residual commissions, and there are also different bonuses based on rank and performance.

Gold Executive Vice President: Keep Executive Vice President qualification, but two of the five qualified legs have an Executive Vice President or higher in them.
Platinum Executive Vice President: Keep Executive Vice President qualification, but three of the five qualified legs have an Executive Vice President or higher in them.
Personal Volume is what PV stands for. PV is the number of sales made by orders from retail customers, orders from Ambassadors who were personally referred, and orders from a Bravenly Global affiliate.

Note that 51% of the required monthly PV must come from retail customers or Ambassadors who were personally referred.

A Bravenly Ambassador pays $9.99 and gets 10% of the sales volume that they bring in.

“Group Volume” is what “GV” stands for. GV is the amount of PV that an affiliate and their downline have made.

Note that up to 50% of the GV needed to go from Director to Executive Director can come from any one unilevel team leg. For Vice President and above, this goes down to 40%.

Retail Commissions
Affiliates of Bravenly Global get a 20% cut of the volume of sales made to retail customers.

Commissions of Ambassadors
Affiliates of Bravenly Global can earn a

10% of the volume of product orders from Ambassadors I recruit
10% on Ambassadors in your downline who were hired indirectly (Ambassadors referred by personally recruited Ambassadors and so forth)
10% off product orders made by Ambassadors who were referred by someone they know.
When it comes to downline Ambassadors, this downline must be made up of Ambassadors that were personally recruited. For example, if you bring on a new affiliate (Brand Partner), any Ambassador work they do isn’t counted in the above commissions.

Better commissions
Bravenly Global offers “enhanced commissions” for retail customers you bring in yourself and Ambassadors you recruit.

generate 400 to 699 PV in retail and Ambassador volume in a month and get a 6% bonus on retail and Ambassador volume that you brought in.
generate 700–1199 PV in retail/Ambassador sales in a month and get a 9% bonus on sales from customers you referred and people you recruited. Ambassador volume
Get 1200 to 1999 PV in retail and Ambassador volume, or 4000 GV in a month, and get a 12% bonus on retail and Ambassador volume that you referred or recruited.
if you get 2000 PV or more in retail/Ambassador volume or 7000 GV in a month, you’ll get a 15% bonus on the retail and Ambassador volume that you brought in.
Recruitment Commissions
When a Bravely Global affiliate brings in a new $49.99 affiliate (no bundled products) who buys something within two days of signing up, the affiliate gets a commission.

The affiliate who brought in the new affiliate gets a 25% commission on product sales volume, and the affiliate who brought in the new affiliate gets a 10% commission on product sales volume.
Commissions that don’t end
A unilevel compensation structure is how Bravenly Global pays out residual commissions.

With a unilevel compensation structure, an affiliate is at the top of a unilevel team, and every other affiliate they recruit is right under them (level 1):

If an affiliate on level 1 brings in new affiliates, those new affiliates join the original affiliate’s unilevel team on level 2.

If any level 2 affiliates bring in new affiliates, they move to level 3, and so on until there are no more levels to go down.

Bravely Global limits the number of payable unilevel team levels to four.

On level 1, Brand Partners get 4%. (personally recruited affiliates)
On levels 1 and 2, Senior Brand Partners earn 4%.
On levels 1 to 3, Executive Brand Partners earn 4%. Directors and higher earn 4% on levels 1 to 4.
Enroller Bonus
The Enroller Bonus gives an extra 6% of sales made on the first and second levels of the unilevel team (personally recruited affiliates and affiliates they recruit).

Level 1 Enroller Bonus for Brand Partners and Senior Brand Partners is 6%.
Executive Brand Partners and above get a 6% Enroller Bonus on levels 1 and 2.
When a Director or higher-ranking affiliate is found in a unilevel team leg, this is called a Generation.

This ranked affiliate is the last of the first generation. The second generation of that leg starts right below them.

If there is a third Director or higher further down the leg, that person ends the second generation of that leg. For that leg, the third generation starts right under them.

If there isn’t a Director or an affiliate with a higher rank, the second generation of that leg goes all the way to the bottom.

Using this structure for generating ideas in the unilevel team:

Directors get a 2% Generation Bonus on the first generation of each unilevel team leg and a 3% Generation Bonus on the second generation.
Senior Directors get 2% for the first generation and 3% for the second and third generations of each unilevel team leg.
Executive Directors and higher earn a 2% Generation Bonus on the first generation and a 3% Generation Bonus on the second to fourth generations of each unilevel team leg. Vice Presidents and higher earn on Director generations as well as Vice President generations:

Vice Presidents get a 2% Generation Bonus on the first Vice President generation of a unilevel team leg and a 3% Generation Bonus on the second Vice President generation. Senior Vice Presidents get a 2% Generation Bonus on the first Vice President generation of a unilevel team leg and a 3% Generation Bonus on the second and third Vice President generations. Executive Vice Presidents and higher get a 2% Generation Bonus on the first Vice President generation of a unilevel team leg and a 3% Rank
Bravely Global gives affiliates rewards if they reach a certain rank within a certain amount of time:

If you become an Executive Brand Partner within 3 months of signing up, you’ll get $25. If you stay an Executive Brand Partner for another 3 months, you’ll get another $25.
Become a Director within 4 months of signing up and get $200. If you stay a Director for another 3 months, you’ll get another $100.
Become a Senior Director within 6 months of joining and get $400. If you stay a Senior Director for another 3 months, you’ll get another $200.
If you become Executive Director within 12 months of signing up, you’ll get $1000. If you stay Executive Director for another 3 months, you’ll get another $500.
Become Vice President within 18 months of joining and get $2,000; if you stay Vice President for another 3 months, you’ll get an extra $1,000.
If you become Senior Vice President within 24 months of signing up, you’ll get $4,000. If you stay Senior Vice President for another 3 months, you’ll get another $2,000.
If you become Executive Vice President within 36 months of signing up, you’ll get $10,000. If you stay Executive Vice President for another three months, you’ll get another $5,000.
Note that the extra 3 months after the initial rank qualification rank don’t have to be in a row.

Bonus Pool for the Nation
Each month, 1% of the company’s total sales volume is taken by Bravenly Global and given to Silver Executive Vice Presidents and higher-ranked affiliates.

Silver Executive Vice Presidents get one share in the National Bonus Pool. Gold Executive Vice Presidents get two shares in the National Bonus Pool. Platinum Executive Vice Presidents get three shares in the National Bonus Pool. Shares in the National Bonus Pool can be used for the following:

Silver Executive Vice Presidents can get one bonus share from the National Bonus Pool for every 25,000 GV they bring in each month.
Gold Executive Vice Presidents get two National Bonus Pool shares for every 25,000 GV they bring in each month.
Platinum Executive Vice Presidents can get three bonus shares from the National Bonus Pool for every 25,000 GV they bring in each month.
Note that the most GV you can use to qualify for a bonus share is 50,000 GV per unilevel team leg.

Bravely Going Global Basic A membership to become a Bravenly Global distributor costs $49.99.

The company also has two “Business Packs for Brand Partners”:

Brand Partner Business Ultimate Pack – $259.99
Brand Partner Business All-In Pack – $399.99
The only difference between the two packs is how the Bravenly Global products are put together.

Bravenly Global also has the option to sign up as an Ambassador for $9.99.

Bravenly Global Ambassadors only get 10% single-level commissions, so this is not part of the MLM opportunity that is being offered.

Conclusion With Courage
I think Emry came up with Bravenly Global because the word “brave” comes up a lot on his social media:

Last year, she even wrote a book called “Chase Your Brave.” All of this is fine, but… I don’t like the name “Bravenly,” and this is just me being honest. It looks like a misspelling of “bravely,” and that’s all I see, even if that wasn’t the point.

I know there are also the adjectives “brave” and “bravely.” It doesn’t work to make them into nouns.

Sadly Global, Happily Global, Angrily Global, Hungrily Global, and Noblely Global are all words that don’t look or sound right to me.

If language isn’t your strong suit, which is fine, this probably won’t bother you. I think it looks strange, so I’m bringing it up here.

Moving on, Bravely Global’s product line is a lot more like what Emris International started with when it first came out. The slimming tea and CBD products are gone, which is a big deal.

I’m tempted to say that there may have been problems getting products from the US to South Africa, which is why Emrys International stopped selling supplements and changed its focus.

Or it could just be that Emry and the Harrises don’t agree on something.

In either case, Bravenly Global is a continuation of Emris International. The current Emris International, however, is a different company.

Weight management is at the center of the products, which makes sense since it’s something Emry is very interested in:

As for the products themselves, there was nothing that stood out. And many of the products are similar (how many appetite suppressants does one need?).

Since supplements for weight loss and general health are easy to find, you should compare prices before buying anything.

Bravenly Global stands behind its products, and they offer a pretty good satisfaction guarantee:

All Brand Partners, Retail Customers, and Ambassadors are welcome to return their product within 45 days if they are not happy with it. For the satisfaction guarantee, Bravenly Global must have the return in their hands by the 45th day.

If a Brand Partner, Retail Customer, or Ambassador isn’t happy with a product, they can return it to Bravenly Global in its original packaging with the original invoice within 45 days of the purchase and get 90% of the purchase price back, minus the cost of shipping.

The person has to pay for the cost of shipping the item back.

Emry is also very passionate about her religion.

BRAVENLY… To have the strength and courage to carry yourself. Leading others in a way that shows God respect by being fair and telling the truth. Living in a truthful and honorable way.

To live life bravely, you have to learn to figure out what’s in a person’s heart by listening to them and going after your goals with all your heart.

The founders of Bravenly care deeply about people, family, and service. This comes from their strong faith and their desire to be the best at everything they do.

Aspen Emry, the CEO, and co-founder of Bravenly started out in network marketing 15 years ago with no experience, three young children at home, and a God-sized dream.

You can believe what you want, but I’m sure that religion has no place in business. In MLM, it is especially easy to take advantage of, favor, or leave out people.

I didn’t see anything in Bravenly Global that made it clear that this was happening, but why take the chance? You can be religious on a personal level and even shout it from the rooftops if you want to, but you don’t have to use religion in your business.

Unless that’s what you want, in which case we need to talk about something else.

When I looked at Bravenly Global’s compensation plan, I was happy to see that I needed 51% retail volume… until I saw that it also included Ambassador volume.

51% of your 100 PQV must come from your clients every month (Retail or Ambassadors).

I’m not sure how I feel about how Bravenly Global set up its Ambassador program. I get that it’s for people who don’t want to do MLM, but since that’s the case, I don’t think it should be part of the MLM opportunity.

Keep the number of Ambassador customers and retail customers separate. They are not the same type of customer.

Retail customers buy things because they like the things. Ambassadors can too, just like distributors, but when they have access to a way to make money, the reason for the purchase can become less clear.

That’s where retail volume requirements come in, which is what Bravenly Global has tried to do.

I’d do a quick check on any potential Bravenly Global upline to see how much of their required minimum of 100 PV a month is a retail volume. Simply ask if they have any Ambassadors.

I’m making a big deal out of this because if someone wants to sell the business opportunity over retail, it will be easier to sell people on an Ambassadorship than on Bravenly Global’s products.

This is fine outside of MLM. Compliance problems come up in MLM when the business opportunity is more important than retail.

I hadn’t seen this before, but Bravenly Global gives a lot of product credit. If a retail customer keeps an autoship order going for a year, they can earn up to $250 in product credit.

The credit is worked out every quarter. This is a great reason to work in retail autoship.

It’s too bad that it applies to Ambassadors as well, so the same warnings about business focus apply.

After that, you’re looking at a four-level deep unilevel, and most of your payment will come from bonuses. At first, the requirements for a rank were not very strict. Then, it goes from 24,000 GV a month for Vice President to 120,000 GV a month for Executive Vice President.

Bravely Global might be able to smooth out some of these jumps. On the other hand, if you work hard enough to become Vice President, it could be a good reason to build up your business.

Based on their own 2021 Income Disclosure Statement, 97.79% of commission-eligible affiliates are in ranks below Vice President. Considering this, the GV jump doesn’t seem too strange.

Overall, Bravenly Global’s MLM business opportunity doesn’t raise any obvious red flags. Aspen Emry’s work with Emris International is being carried on well, and she has brought her husband along for the ride.

Best of luck!
