Jobadiah Weeks, Silviu Balaci, and Joe Abel, three BitClub Network Ponzi schemers, are due to be jailed in March 2023.
An August 12th order changed the dates for each of the trio’s sentencings:
On March 14, 2023, Jobadiah Sinclair Weeks will be sentenced.
On March 16, 2023, Silviu Catalin Balaci will receive his punishment.
On March 21st, 2023, Joseph Frank Abel will receive his punishment.
Although not definite, it is anticipated that all three of them will serve time behind bars.
Matt Goettsche, the BitClub Network defendant, is still contesting the charges brought against him. His case will still be heard until October 2022.
Russ Medlin, the defendant, is incarcerated in Indonesia for offenses involving children.
In related news, Weeks (right) requested on August 8th that his home confinement be modified to a curfew.
We humbly move to change Mr. Weeks’ bail requirements from home confinement to a curfew so that he can participate in family events and travel to family-owned properties in the State of Colorado.
The Pretrial Services Officer has informed us that given Mr. Weeks’ general adherence to the terms of his release, they are open to this alteration.
The Pretrial Service’s position is respected by the United States through Assistant United States Attorney Anthony Torntore.
Weeks initially believed he could get away with something while in detention.
According to the assessment made by PreTrial Services, Weeks appears to have accepted his fate and found a stable home.
On August 15th, Weeks’ request to modify the curfew was approved.
