César Julio Gómez López, who was promoting Generation Zoe, has been arrested by the government of Venezuela.

Lopez has been charged with fraud related to “false investments” after an investigation by the Scientific, Criminal, and Criminalistic Investigation Service Corps (CICPC).

An Elpitazo said that Lopez is a member of the group of investors called “Los Captadores de Zoe.” The gang gives people in Argentina, Paraguay, the Dominican Republic, Uruguay, and Venezuela the chance to invest in cryptocurrencies by getting people to invest in the pyramid company and the Ponzi scheme.

The head of CICPC, Douglas Rico, said this about the Ponzi scheme:

These criminals offer talks, conferences, trips, and meetings with professionals about investing in cryptocurrencies backed by gold mines. By doing this, they get their victims to invest in the scam and become pyramid schemers.

In addition to Lopez, CICPC is looking for Blanca Torres, Martina Reyes, Patricia Sulbaran, and Yomary Rivas to promote Generation Zoe.

Generation Zoe It was a simple Ponzi scheme using smart contracts and cryptography. When Generation Zoe fell apart in February 2022, an international search for the people responsible began against Leonardo Cositorto, the founder of the company.

In April, he was caught in the Dominican Republic. Then, right away, Argentina was sent to prison.

Cositorto is being charged with a crime because of how he ran Generation Zoe. He is in jail until his trial because his three bail requests were turned down.
