Haojia Miao entered a guilty plea to one count of wire fraud. Miao (also known as Haljia Miao and Stan Miao) is a member of Kristijan Krstic’s Ponzi scheme.

In October 2020, he was arrested in California. Count one of Miao’s indictment shows him admitting he did it. Option Giants, Options Rider, Bancde Options, Aeon Options, Banking Option, Instant Options, Fast Options, Elite Options, and others were among those who assisted in the creation, promotion, marketing, and organization of fraudulent investment platforms.

Miao and others established, promoted, marketed, and organized fraudulent investment platforms in China, Australia, the Philippines, and Serbia. Miao faces up to ten years in prison at sentencing, according to his plea agreement.

Up to 20 years in prison; a maximum $250,000 fine, or twice what he gained/or his victims lost; three years of supervised release; restitution to his victims; and property forfeiture Prosecutors will recommend Miao be sentenced to no more than 84 months under the terms of the plea agreement (7 years).

On December 8th, Miao’s plea agreement was filed. The agreement has yet to be approved by the court. Kristijan Krstic, Miao’s boss, is accused of running a $70 million Ponzi scheme. Krstic was supposed to be extradited to the United States. Instead, Serbian authorities released Krstic in July, and he promptly fled. Krstic’s current location is unknown. He and the other defendants are scheduled to go on trial in March of next year.

9th of February, 2022 – The guilty plea of Miao has been accepted. On May 26th, 2022, he is scheduled to be sentenced.
